Noddfa is a beautiful country retreat on the Conwy Old Road, just outside Penmaenmawr, North Wales.
Noddfa is a Welsh word meaning "haven" or "refuge", and is run by the order of the Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Mary. This charming country house is surrounded by private gardens, nestled between the sea and the mountains on the north coast of Wales. By car:
Come off the A55 at the roundabout signed for Penmaenmawr (Exit 16) and follow the road as far as the Mountain View Hotel. Take a sharp left onto Conwy Old Road and continue for half a mile. The entrance is on the right, opposite Tan-y-Foel cemetery.
By rail:
Some trains stop (by request) at Penmaenmawr Station. We can arrange to pick you up from the station.
Taxis are available outside Llandudno Junction station.
By air:
The most accessible international airport is Manchester.
